Lot record
Every vial label carries the lot number. That number returns the signed certificate for that exact fill, not a generic sample document.
There is no partial release, no shipping against a pending result and no blending of an out-of-specification component into a multi-compound vial.
Each line has a written release specification covering appearance, purity, identity, molecular weight, sterility and endotoxin. The specification is set before synthesis, not adjusted afterwards to fit a result.
Release testing is performed by a United Kingdom analytical laboratory that is not us. In-house results are used for process control, never for release.
Certificates are issued per fill and carry the lot number printed on the vial. We do not issue a single document covering several fills.
Multi-component vials are tested per component before blending and again as a finished blend. Both sets of results appear on the certificate.
Compounds that need it ship insulated with a gel pack. Stability data supports a short ambient period in transit, which is documented rather than assumed.

It does not. Purity describes how clean the chromatogram is. Identity is a separate test. A sample can be 99% pure and still be the wrong molecule, which is why we publish both results on the same certificate.
No. Sterility and endotoxin are different tests measuring different things. A sterile-filtered sample can still carry endotoxin from upstream, so the LAL result is reported separately with its own figure.
Not for the vial in your hand. A generic document proves a compound was tested once, not that your fill was. Every certificate we issue carries the lot number printed on the label.
Usually not. A 10 mg lyophilised cake is often a thin film across the base of the vial. Fill weight is verified at filling and recorded on the certificate.

Practical notes on receiving, storing and documenting material. Laboratory practice only. No protocols, no dosing, no claims.
Check the outer box, the gel pack and the vial seal before anything else. Photograph any damage with the lot number visible and send it the same day. Move sealed vials to −20 °C once inspection is done.
Sealed vials keep best at −20 °C, dark and dry. Peptides are hygroscopic: the enemy is moisture ingress, not brief ambient exposure. Let a vial reach room temperature before opening so condensation forms on the outside, not the cake.
Add solvent slowly down the vial wall rather than directly onto the cake, and swirl rather than shake. Solvent choice, volume and concentration are decisions for the receiving laboratory. We do not supply protocols.
Solution is far less stable than the dry cake. Hold at 2–8 °C, protect from light, and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Aliquot if the material will be drawn on repeatedly.
Match the lot number on the certificate to the vial label first. Then check identity before purity: a pass on LC-MS tells you it is the right molecule, and the HPLC figure tells you how clean it is.
A multi-component vial has one lot number and one certificate showing both the per-component results and the finished blend result. Check that both are present.
An insulated box with a gel pack limits temperature excursion, it does not freeze. A gel pack that arrives thawed is normal and does not by itself indicate a problem for a lyophilised product.
Broken seal, damaged vial, illegible lot number, a certificate that does not match the label, or any result you cannot reconcile. Same thread, same lot number.
